Pete Carroll will be announced as an inductee into USC's 2015 Hall of Fame class this weekend, according to Ted Miller at ESPN.com.

Carroll, the current coach of the Seattle Seahawks, will be one of 16 individuals inducted into the Hall of Fame next year. Despite Seattle's bye week this weekend, however, Carroll will not be in attendance at the announcement, scheduled for halftime of USC's Pac-12 matchup against Oregon State on Saturday.

Carroll coached the Trojans for nine years, going 97-19 and winning seven straight conference titles and two national championships. During his tenure, the team also recorded 34 consecutive victories.

His 2010 departure from USC came just before a number of NCAA sanctions were leveled against the team. In the four years since Carroll left, the Trojans have gone 37-18.
