Reggie Hemphill, a wide receiver from Manvel, Texas, announced on Twitter Saturday that he has verbally committed to Texas.

Hemphill is the No. 37 receiver and No. 215 player in the class of 2016, according to rankings on the recruiting website Rivals.com.

Hemphill had committed to the Longhorns near the beginning of his sophomore season, but Charlie Strong, who was hired to replace Mack Brown as Texas' head coach in January, reportedly rescinded Hemphill's offer.

Now Hemphill has apparently given his verbal pledge to the Longhorns again.

The 6-foot-1, 174-pounder also drew scholarship offers from LSU, Notre Dame, Michigan State and Ole Miss, among other programs.

Hemphill joins four-star receiver Collin Johnson as the second player in the class of 2016 to commit to Texas.
