Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly said he was told that decisions were "imminent" on the statuses of the five suspended football players being investigated for academic fraud.

Notre Dame released a statement on Sunday saying the honor code hearings for the players in question have been completed but that the results of the hearing are confidential. The statement says the results will be relayed to the affected players, who can choose to disclose them.

From the Chicago Tribune:

"Imminent meant to me, today, tomorrow," Kelly said. "But I have not been notified by anybody in the university or any of the players of any decisions regarding the hearings."

The five players are cornerback KeiVarae Russell, defensive lineman Ishaq Williams, wide receiver DaVaris Daniels, linebacker Kendall Moore and safety Eilar Hardy.

Notre Dame (5-0) hosts North Carolina on Saturday.
