Season Recap

Ole Miss

10/04: Ole Miss 23, Alabama 17

Bo Wallace hit Jaylen Walton with a 10-yard TD pass with 2:54 to go in the game to lift the Rebels over the Tide. For the game, Wallace finished with 251 yards and three touchdowns to help Ole Miss come back from a 14-3 deficit and stay undefeated on the season.

09/20: Ole Miss 24, Memphis 3

The Rebels dominated defensively against Memphis, and that was enough to overcome four turnovers for a 21-point victory.  Bo Wallace completed only 22-of-37 passes while throwing two interceptions, but the Ole Miss defense held the Tigers to just 104 yards of total offense (81 passing, 23 rushing). Rebels wide receiver Laquon Treadwell produced 123 yards receiving and two touchdown grabs.

09/13: Ole Miss 56, Louisiana-Lafayette 15

Bo Wallace threw for 316 yards and completed 23 of his 28 pass attempts. He tallied four touchdown passes in the first 35 minutes of game action, and the Rebels cruised to victory. Ole Miss also rushed for 214 yards in the game, and the Rebel defense forced Louisiana-Lafayette into four turnovers.

09/06: Ole Miss 41, Vanderbilt 3

Ole Miss was dominant on both sides of the ball in its SEC opener. Bo Wallace captained an offense that produced 547 total yards, including 320 yards passing from Wallace. On the defensive side of the ball, Vanderbilt was limited to only 9 first downs and 167 yards. Ole Miss converted on 10 of 15 third downs in the game, and the Rebels possessed the ball for more than 37 minutes.

08/30: Ole Miss 35, Boise State 13

The Rebels led just 7-6 after three quarters, but the offense exploded for 28 points in the fourth quarter to secure a victory in the Georgia Dome. Bo Wallace threw for 387 yards and four touchdowns, though he threw three interceptions. Cody Core and Laquon Treadwell each had more than 100 receiving yards, and the Ole Miss defense forced four turnovers.

Texas A&M

10/04: Mississippi State 48, Texas A&M 31

Kenny Hill was picked off three times in this one by a stout Mississippi State defense as the Aggies dropped their first game of the season to the Bulldogs. After taking a 7-0 lead in the first quarter, the Aggies were never ahead from that point as Dak Prescott and the Mississippi State defense racked up 48 points and 559 yards of total offense on the Texas A&M defense.

09/27: Texas A&M 35, Arkansas 28 (OT)

Texas A&M fought back from a 28-14 deficit in the third quarter to beat Arkansas in overtime. In the win, Kenny Hill threw for 386 yards with four touchdowns and one interception. Wide receiver Edward Pope caught four passes for 151 yards. Two of those four catches were for touchdowns.

09/20 Texas A&M 58, SMU 6

After topping SMU, the Aggies were off to their first 4-0 start since 2006. Wide receiver Jeremy Tabuyo had touchdown catches of 30 yards and 50 yards. Quarterback Kenny Hill averaged 12 yards per attempt in throwing for 265 yards and two touchdown passes.

09/13: Texas A&M 38, Rice 10

The Aggies were outgained 481-477, but they still earned a convincing victory. Defensive end Myles Garrett had 2.5 sacks, giving him 5.5 for the season, which is already a school freshman record. Hill became the first player in school history to throw for 1,000 yards in the first three games of a season.

09/06: Texas A&M 73, Lamar 3

Kenny Hill threw for 283 yards and four touchdowns before being pulled due to the lopsided nature of the game. In relief of Hill, backup quarterback Kenny Allen threw for 122 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. The Aggies combined for 225 rushing yards. Texas A&M held Lamar to 243 total yards.

08/30: Texas A&M 52, South Carolina 28

In his first game as the starting quarterback, Hill threw for a school-record 511 passing yards. Texas A&M's 680 total yards were the most South Carolina has given up in school history. The Aggies were successful on 12 of 17 third-down conversions.
