Iowa State Cyclones offensive tackle Brock Dagel has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after undergoing knee surgery this week, according to Bobby La Gesse of the Ames Tribune.

The 6-foot-8, 303-pound left tackle made 16 straight starts but will miss the remaining seven games for the Cyclones. He had started all five games at left tackle this season after moving over from right tackle last season as a sophomore. The 6-foot-8, 291-pound redshirt freshman Jake Campos figures to take over some of the responsibilities in Dagel's absence.

The Cyclones are 1-4 this season and currently have the 116th ranked offensive line, according to NBC Sports. Their only win this season came on Sept. 13, a 20-17 road victory against their in-state rival the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Iowa State hosts Toledo on Saturday.
