Harris will be replacing Jeff Driskel, who has thrown for 928 yards with six touchdowns and 10 interceptions on the season, while completing 53 percent of his passes.
The freshman was a four-star recruit coming out of high school and made his college debut against Eastern Michigan, completing both of his pass attempts for touchdowns. He didn't play again until a month later, when he replaced Driskel in the fourth quarter against Tennessee and led a comeback win. Two days later, Florida announced his suspension.
Harris played in the Gators' home loss last Saturday to Missouri, completing 8-of-12 passes for 98 yards and throwing a touchdown and an interception.
