Ole Miss, Wake Forest agree to 2024-25 football series

Wake Forest and Ole Miss will meet in a home-and-home series in the 2024 and 2025 college football seasons.

Wake Forest and Ole Miss will meet in a home-and-home series in the 2024 and 2025 college football seasons, the schools announced Wednesday

The first game will be played in Winston-Salem in 2024, with the return game in Oxford in 2025.

The series will be an early-season affair, with the first game scheduled for Sept. 14, 2024, and the follow-up game on Sept. 13, 2025.

The two teams played in 2006 and 2008, with Wake Forest winning both games. The Demon Deacons won 27-3 in Oxford in 2006 and 30-28 in Winston-Salem in 2008.

Ole Miss also has a home-and-home scheduled with Georgia Tech in 2022-23. The Rebels are currently No. 3 in the AP Poll and face No. 24 LSU on Saturday.

Wake Forest has future series scheduled with Indiana (2015-16), Notre Dame (2017-18, 2020, 2023) and Utah State (2017, 2019). The Demon Deacons are 2-5 this season and play Boston College on Saturday.
