An LSU spokesman confirmed to Ross Dellenger of The Advocate in Baton Rouge, La., that the mother of coach Les Miles died Friday night.

An LSU spokesman confirmed to Ross Dellenger of The Advocate in Baton Rouge, La.,that the mother of coach Les Miles died Friday night.

Martha Miles was believed to be 90 or 91, according to the paper. A cause of death has not been released.

Les Miles appeared on ESPN's College Gameday on Saturday morning and is expected to coach the Tigers in Saturday night's home game against Ole Miss.
