NEW ORLEANS (AP) Sun Belt Conference Commissioner Karl Benson says members of the Louisiana-Lafayette and Arkansas State football teams are being reprimanded for unsportsmanlike conduct during their game last week, and that the officiating crew will be disciplined.

Benson says officials for last Tuesday night's game will be suspended for an upcoming game and may be passed over for bowl assignments for failing to notice potentially injurious fouls committed by both teams, including punches thrown.

The Arkansas State players reprimanded are Andrew Tryon and Xavier Woodson, who were ejected, along with Frankie Jackson and Tres Houston, whose fouls went unnoticed.

The conference also is reprimanding Louisiana-Lafayette player Corey Trim, who was not flagged for a punch, as well as Ragin' Cajun assistants Mitch Rodrigue and Rusty Whitt for ''inappropriate bench decorum.''
