Utah State indefinitely suspended redshirt freshman wide receiver Hayden Weichers for violating unspecified team rules after he was cited by authorities for suspicion of solicitation of a prostitute, reports the Logan Herald Journal.

According to the Logan, Utah, police department, Weichers was cited for the Class B misdemeanor for an incident that took place on Oct. 22. Police did not release details of the arrest.

“You know, as a teammate we’re going to wrap our arms around him and love him,” sophomore center Austin Stephens said to the Deseret News. “All I can really say is that, and next man up. We’ll be ready to rock and roll Friday night.”

Weichers has 10 receptions for 84 yards while playing in all nine games this season, including catching three passes for 27 yards in Utah State’s 35-14 win over Hawaii on Saturday. He also has four punt returns for three yards and one kickoff return this season.

Utah State (6-3, 3-1 Mountain West) plays at Wyoming (4-5, 2-3 Mountain West) on Friday.
