PRINCETON, N.J. (AP) Quinn Epperly scored two first-half touchdowns, Nolan Bieck kicked three field goals and Princeton held on to defeat Pennsylvania 22-17 on Saturday night.

Alek Torgersen threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Justin Watson, whose one-handed catch pulled Penn within 19-17 with 12:54 to play in the third quarter. Bieck kicked his third field goal, a 20-yarder to stretch the Tigers' lead with 10:15 remaining. Torgersen led Penn to the Princeton 22, but the Quakers turned it over on downs with 5:23 left.

Bieck made field goals from 46 and 21 yards, and Epperly bullied in from the 1 and threw a 1-yard touchdown pass to Connor Kelley.

Torgersen threw a 5-yard touchdown pass in the first, and finished 40 of 61 for 349 yards while setting single-game school records for completions and attempts.

It was Princeton's (5-3, 4-1 Ivy League) first home win over Penn (1-7, 1-4) since 2006.
