AP source: LSU's Robinson suspended vs. Alabama

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) A person familiar with the situation says LSU cornerback Rashard Robinson is suspended and will miss Saturday night's game against fourth-ranked Alabama.

The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because Robinson's suspension and the reason for it has not been announced. It also is not known if it will last beyond one game.

Robinson has started the past six games for 14th-ranked LSU. This season he has been credited with 17 tackles, including one tackle for a loss, and one pass breakup.

He has been sharing time at cornerback with Jalen Collins, who'll be expected to play more against the Crimson Tide. Both Alabama and LSU are on three-game winning streaks.
