Western Michigan handles Eastern Michigan, 51-7

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) Zach Terrell was 17 of 19 passing for 357 yards and four touchdowns, leading Western Michigan to a 51-7 win over Eastern Michigan on Saturday.

Darius Phillips returned the opening kickoff 93-yards for a touchdown and Western Michigan (7-3, 5-1 Mid-American Conference) cruised from there. Corey Davis finished with four catches for 134 yards and a touchdown, including a 54-yard bomb from Terrell. Terrell would add a second 54-yard TD strike late in the second quarter, this time finding Jarvion Franklin. Daniel Braverman would account for the remaining two Terrell touchdown passes, catching an 11 and 13-yarder.

Reginald Bell Jr. threw for 283 yards and a touchdown and led Eastern Michigan (2-8, 1-5) with 33 yards rushing. The Eagles did not get on the board until the final five minutes, when Bell found Bronson Hill on a 76-yard TD pass.
