Houston Baptist dominates Hillsdale Baptist 89-53

HOUSTON (AP) Colter Lasher had 17 points and seven rebounds to lead Houston Baptist to a dominating 89-53 victory over Hillsdale Free Will Baptist on Monday night.

All sixteen players suited out for the game scored for the Huskies (1-1) as they dominated in every area. Anthony Odunsi had 15 points and three steals.

Houston Baptist led throughout and was ahead 52-23 at the half and easily coasted to the win. The Huskies made 34 of 66 field goal attempts while limiting Hillsdale to 17 of 58 from the field. Houston Baptist easily won the rebound battle, pulling down 46, compared to 33 for Hillsdale. The Huskies also stole the ball 13 times.

Phil Carey, who made 5 of 18 attempts from the field, and Chris Hobgood led the Saints with 13 points apiece.
