James Madison edges Radford 74-71

HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) Ron Curry scored 20 points, including the game-winning 3-pointer with 3.3 seconds left, to help James Madison beat Radford 74-71 on Monday night.

Jackson Kent made two free throws with 3:13 left to give James Madison a 71-68 lead. Javonte Green responded with a basket for Radford and later, Taj Owens hit the first of two free throws to tie it at 71.

Kent finished with 12 points for James Madison (1-1), Paulius Satkus had 11, and Winston Grays finished with 10.

Javonte Green and Rashun Davis scored 15 points apiece for Radford (0-2). R.J. Price added 11 and Kyle Noreen had 10.

James Madison led 37-35 at halftime. Curry made all four of his shots and had 11 points at the break as the Dukes converted 51.9 percent of their 27 attempts in the first half.
