Texas A&M center Tonny Trocha-Morelos has been cleared to play by the NCAA, reports CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein.

Trocha-Morelos has yet to set foot on the court since signing a letter of intent with the Aggies in November 2012. A highly touted four-star recruit out of Columbia, the 6-foot-10 center was forced to sit due to his NCAA amateurism certification not being completed.

“I am excited to officially get Tonny into our program,” A&M head coach Billy Kennedy said in a statement this past spring. “He will have an immediate impact to our program. He is a skilled big man who affects the game on both ends of the floor.”
