La Salle pulls away from St. Francis (NY) 73-60

PHILADELPHIA (AP) Jordan Price scored 30 points to lead La Salle over St. Francis (NY) 73-60 on Tuesday.

La Salle (4-0) shot 47 percent and was 4 of 11 on 3-pointers. Jerrell Wright scored 19 points and grabbed 9 rebounds as the Explorers limited St. Francis (0-4) to just 35 percent from the floor. Steve Zack added 14 points and 13 boards for La Salle.

Brent Jones led St. Francis with 13 points and Jalen Cannon added 11 points and 13 boards.

St. Francis led through the first five minutes, but an 8-0 run - including a dunk by Wright - opened things up for La Salle. The Explorers closed the half on an 11-2 run and led 34-23 at intermission.

The Terriers cut the deficit to four on a 4-point play by Tyreek Jewell with 10:15 left, but a 13-3 LaSalle run gave the Explorers a comfortable edge down the stretch.
