Georgia St. pulls away from Western Carolina 85-70

ROCHESTER, Mich. (AP) R.J. Hunter scored 27 points and Ryan Harrow added 21 and Georgia State pulled away for an 85-70 win over Western Carolina at the CBE Hall of Fame Classic on Tuesday.

Rhett Harrelson of Western Carolina (2-3) tied the game at 64 with the second of his consecutive 3-pointers with 6:19 left. Kevin Ware answered with two free throws, starting an 8-0 run that put the Panthers (3-2) up for good.

After Harrelson, who led the Catamounts with a career-high 21 points, made two free throws, Harrow made a layup and 3-pointer to ignite a 10-0 run for an 18-2 surge to put the game away.

Markus Crider added 15 points and nine rebounds for Georgia State, which out-rebounded the Catamounts 35-27.

Torrion Brummitt scored 15 points and James Sinclair had 14 for Western Carolina.
