Radford drops NC A&T 65-57

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) Javonte Green and R.J. Price both scored 14 points to lead Radford over North Carolina A&T 65-57 on Friday to advance in the Corpus Christi Challenge.

Radford faces Texas A&M-CC, which knocked off Mississippi Valley State, on Saturday in the Visitors' Bracket Championship game.

Price made 4 of 8 from beyond the arc and Green was 6 of 8 from the line and had eight rebounds. The Highlanders (3-3) were over 40 percent from the floor and on 3-pointers.

NC A&T (1-5) was led by Austin Williams and Khary Doby with 14 points apiece.

No more than five points separated the two teams in the first half with Radford taking an 18-13 lead with 10:49 left after a pair of Brandon Holcomb free throws and Rashun Davis' 3-pointer. The teams were tied at the break at 34.

It stayed nip-and-tuck until late when Radford seized control with an 8-2 run, punctuated by Ya Ya Anderson's 3-pointer with 4:01 left to take a seven-point lead.
