CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) Injured Clemson starting quarterback Deshaun Watson was listed as probable for the 23rd-ranked Tigers' game Saturday against rival South Carolina.

Clemson (8-3) will be attempting to end a five-game losing streak to the Gamecocks (6-5) on Saturday.

Watson has missed four games with injuries the season, the latest two weeks ago when his sprained a knee ligament and sustained a bone bruise in a 28-6 loss to No. 16 Georgia Tech. Watson sat out last week's 28-0 win over Georgia State, but returned to practice on Monday.

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney had said he'd been encouraged by Watson's progress.

Watson had missed three games earlier in the season after breaking a bone in his throwing hand.

The injury report was released Friday.
