Clemson's Chad Morris, reported to take SMU job, focused on next game
Clemson offensive coordinator Chad Morris declined to confirm reports he will become the next head coach at Clemson.
"Unreal, everyone thinks they know," Morris said in a text message to The Clemson Insider. "Sorry completely focused on [South Carolina]."
Multiple reports Thursday said Morris had agreed to join SMU. Morris has coached at Clemson since 2011 and is the nation's highest-paid assistant coach, with an annual salary of $1.3 million.
