Stephen F. Austin beats Austin Peay 83-62

LAS VEGAS (AP) Jacob Parker scored 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Stephen F. Austin over Austin Peay 83-62 on Friday at the Las Vegas Invitational.

Thomas Walkup added 16 points and Tanner Clayton 12 for the Lumberjacks (3-3), who won their bracket after coming into the tournament on a three-game losing streak.

Khalil Davis scored a career-high 25 points for the Governors (2-5), who have lost four of their last five games. Josh Robinson and Chris Horton each added 12 points. Horton also collected 10 rebounds for his third double-double this season.

The Lumberjacks shot 63.3 percent to 41.7 percent for the Governors. SFA dominated in the paint, scoring 46 points inside to the Governors' 26.

SFA took the lead about 90 seconds into the game and never trailed, leading 44-28 at halftime.
