Montana St. makes 18 3s, beats UT-Arlington 104-81

BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) Michael Dison had a career-high 32 points, and Montana State set a school record with 18 3-pointers in a 104-81 victory over Texas-Arlington on Friday night.

The Bobcats (1-4) opened on a 9-0 run and led the entire way in head coach Brian Fish's first win at Montana State.

Dison was 6 of 6 from 3-point range in the first half and the Bobcats had 13 of 17 3-pointers before the break. Dison finished 7 of 8 and MSU 18 of 26.

Stephan Holm was 7 of 11 on 3-pointers with 25 points and seven rebounds. Marcus Colbert had 13 points and nine assists, Eric Norman had 11 points and nine rebounds, and Danny Robison scored 10.

Johnny Hill, Drew Charles and Lonnie McClanahan each had 12 points, and Kaelon Wilson scored 11 for the Mavericks (3-3).
