Siena beats Loyola (Md) 81-71

BALTIMORE (AP) Ryan Oliver made a pair of 3-pointers late and Siena beat Loyola (Md) 81-71 on Saturday.

The Saints (2-2) trailed by eight early in the second, but tied it at 52 with 8:55 left after a pair of Marquis Wright free throws and a layup. It stayed tight down the stretch until Oliver took over. His trey at 2:25 broke a 66-all tie and he hit again from 3 with 1:23 left to make it 74-66. He added a layup on the next possession and Siena made 5 of 6 free throws to ice it.

Oliver finished with 11 points. Brett Bisping led Siena with 16 points and seven rebounds and Rob Poole had 15 points. Wright scored 14 points with six assists and Lavon Long added 10 points.

Loyola (2-3) was led by Tyler Hubbard with 23 points, including 17 of 18 at the line.
