San Francisco beats Montana 76-57

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) Kruize Pinkins scored 26 points on 9-of-11 shooting, Tim Derksen added 17 points, and San Francisco beat Montana 76-57 on Sunday.

Mark Tollefsen scored 15 points and Matt Glover had five assists.

The Dons (4-2) won the rebound battle 36-25 and led by as many as 25 points. They outshot the Grizzlies from the field 64.9 percent to 33.3 percent.

Martin Breunig led Montana (2-3) with 14 points and Jermaine Edmonds Jr. scored 13 off the bench.

San Francisco opened with a 12-2 run capped by a 3-pointer by Derksen. Pinkins, who came into the game averaging 15.2 points, scored 12 points in the half, including a layup that put the Dons up 34-16 at halftime.

Montana gained some ground with a 9-1 run early in the second half, but went cold while the Dons answered with an 11-2 rally to lead 49-29 at the midway mark.
