Kentucky tops AP Poll, followed by Wisconsin, Arizona, Duke

The Kentucky Wildcats remain the No. 1 team in this week's AP Poll, with Wisconsin, Arizona and Duke rounding out the top four again.

Kentucky is 7-0 on the season after defeating UT-Arlington and Providence in convincing fashion during the last week. After defeating then-No. 5 Kansas last month, John Calipari's Wildcats will get another test from a Big 12 team when they host No. 7 Texas on Friday night.

Wisconsin is also 7-0 and received three second-place votes after beating UAB, Georgetown and Oklahoma en route to winning the Battle 4 Atlantis last weekend. The Badgers will play their first ranked opponent of the season when they host No. 4 Duke on Wednesday.

Arizona won the Maui Invitational last week to improve to 6-0 on the season. The Wildcats knocked off Missouri, Kansas State and then-No. 15 San Diego State to win the tournament. Sean Miller's team hosts No. 9 Gonzaga on Saturday.

North Carolina fell from No. 5 to No. 12 after losing to Butler. The Tar Heels rebounded with wins over UCLA and Florida. Iowa State dropped from No. 13 to No. 20 following a loss to Maryland at home.

The last five teams in the poll are all new: Maryland, Oklahoma, Butler, Illinois and Utah.
