Referee Rick Crawford all right after being elbowed in head Saturday

Referee Rick Crawford says he suffered no serious injury after being elbowed in the head on Saturday. 

On the opening tip between Vanderbilt and La Salle at the Barclays Center Classic consolation game, Crawford was accidentally struck above the eye by Vanderbilt center Damian Jones.

Crawford immediately crumbled to the court and received medical attention. He was eventually taken off the court on a stretcher and transported to a nearby hospital.

"It was a little scary," Crawford told the Associated Press. "I think after the elbow hit my eye, my head hit the floor. I was fully conscious. I was aware of what was going on. So it was a little scary. Just a little knot over my right eye."
