LOS ANGELES (AP) Casey Kasperbauer set career highs by making seven 3-pointers and scoring 25 points, Brandon Bos hit two free throws with 9 seconds left and South Dakota beat Cal State-Northridge 68-65 on Tuesday night.

South Dakota (3-5) used a 9-2 run, capped Tyler Larson's 3-pointer, to take a 64-57 lead with 2:55 to play.

After a pair of free throws by Stephan Hicks and a Landon Drew jumper pulled Northridge within three, Kasperbauer made two free throws to make it 66-61 with 22 seconds remaining.

Stephen Maxwell was fouled on a put-back layup 9 seconds later, but missed the free throw.

Larson missed the front end of a one-and-one on the other end and a pair of free throws by Hicks pulled Northridge (2-6) within one, 66-65, with 10 seconds to go.

Hick, who scored 27, immediately fouled and Brandon Bos made both free throws before a Northridge turnover sealed it.
