TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) Stanley Johnson and Gabe York each scored 18 points, and No. 3 Arizona blitzed Gardner-Webb during a 16-0 second-half run to roll over the Bulldogs 91-65 Tuesday night.

Arizona (7-0) needed to shake out the cobwebs after the holiday break and had to rally from a sluggish start with a big run to end the first half. The Wildcats again were flat to open the second half, but had an even bigger run in them, hitting 11 straight shots during an 18-2 stretch that put the game out of reach.

Arizona shot 56 percent and made 10 of 17 from 3-point range to extend its home-winning streak to 25 games.

Gardner-Webb (3-4) made the game close with a strong start to the second half before wilting under Arizona's athleticism.

Tyler Strange and Tyrell Nelson each had 15 points to lead the Bulldogs.

No. 5 LOUISVILLE 64, No. 14 OHIO STATE 55

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Terry Rozier made clutch jumpers down the stretch, including a big 3-pointer with 46 seconds remaining, to help No. 5 Louisville survive No. 14 Ohio State 64-55 Tuesday night in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

The Cardinals (6-0) were in danger of blowing a 17-point halftime lead before Rozier made three straight baskets in the final minutes including the key shot from behind the arc to provide a 59-53 lead.

Anas Mahmoud and Montrezl Harrell each added a free throw before Rozier made a steal with 16 seconds left and hit a foul shot to finish with 11 points.

Wayne Blackshear's two free throws with five seconds left sealed Louisville's win. He finished with 22 points including four 3-pointers.

D'Angelo Russell scored 17 points for Ohio State (5-1), which still had chances to win despite shooting 30 percent.

No. 6 TEXAS 63, TEXAS-ARLINGTON 53

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Freshman Myles Turner scored 18 points to carry No. 6 Texas over Texas-Arlington - a lethargic tuneup before the Longhorns head to Kentucky to play the No. 1 Wildcats.

Texas, which beat defending national champion Connecticut on Saturday, struggled for long stretches and often got sloppy against the Mavericks, who lost by 48 to Kentucky last week.

Jonathan Holmes added nine points and 16 rebounds for Texas, which improved to 7-0 for the first time since the 2009-2010 team won its first 17 and rose to No. 1 in the country.

Holmes also had three blocks as Texas tied the school record of 13. Turner was 2 of 9 from the floor but was 14 of 17 shooting free throws.

Greg Gainey scored nine points to lead Texas-Arlington (3-4), which has lost three in a row.

No. 9 GONZAGA 76, SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA 57

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - Kyle Wiltjer scored 20 points as No. 9 Gonzaga used a big second half to beat scrappy Southeastern Louisiana.

Domantas Sabonis added 14 points and Kevin Pangos 12 for Gonzaga (7-0), which trailed after the first half.

Joshua Filmore had 14 points and Zay Jackson and DeVonte Upson each scored 12 for Southeastern Louisiana (2-6) of the Southland Conference.

This was the first game between the two schools

Undersized Southeastern Louisiana played well in the first half, but Gonzaga's depth and rebounding overwhelmed the Lions in the second half. Gonzaga won the rebound battle 30-21 and shot 53 percent in the game to 49 percent for the Lions.

No. 15 MIAMI 70, ILLINOIS 61

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) - Freshman Deandre Burnett scored a season-high 19 points and No. 15 Miami won a matchup of unbeaten teams Tuesday night, beating Illinois in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge.

Burnett had played in only three games previously, but he became the fourth player to lead the young Hurricanes in scoring this season. The 6-foot-2 guard added eight rebounds in 24 minutes.

Miami, which has never previously been ranked so high so early in a season, improved to 8-0. The Illini fell to 6-1 with their earliest loss in the past four years.

No. 17 MICHIGAN 68, SYRACUSE 65

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - Spike Albrecht rattled in a 3-pointer with 31 seconds remaining to put Michigan ahead, and the 17th-ranked Wolverines held on to beat Syracuse.

Albrecht's shot broke a 63-63 tie after Syracuse (5-2) had rallied from a 10-point second-half deficit. Michigan led 66-65 after Michael Gbinije scored inside for the Orange, and Derrick Walton missed the front and of a one-and-one for the Wolverines. But Syracuse freshman Chris McCullough threw the ball out of bounds with 15 seconds remaining.

Caris LeVert missed the front end of another one-and-one, but the Orange turned the ball over again. This time it was Kaleb Joseph - another freshman - who lost the ball in the frontcourt. LeVert made two free throws to put Michigan (6-1) back up by three, and Joseph came up short on a 3-pointer at the buzzer.

No. 20 IOWA STATE 96, LAMAR 59

AMES, Iowa (AP) - Matt Thomas scored 14 points, Georges Niang added 13 and 20th-ranked Iowa State pounded Lamar.

Bryce Dejean Jones had 12 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists and four steals for the Cyclones (4-1), who shook off a sluggish start with a game-deciding 16-0 run late in the first half.

Iowa State pushed its lead to 47-26 with 17:37 left and overwhelmed the Cardinals (2-5) in the second half.

The Cyclones forced 27 turnovers and hit 20 of 30 shots during one stretch.

LeMon Gregory scored 13 points for Lamar (2-5).
