Murray State beats NAIA Bethel of Tennessee 102-66

MURRAY, Ky. (AP) Cameron Payne led the way with 22 points, seven assists and four steals on Wednesday night, and Murray State beat NAIA Bethel of Tennessee 102-66.

Jeffery Moss made all three of his 3-pointers for 15 points, and the Racers (4-4) made 11 of 15 from 3-point range and 36 of 58 (62.1 percent) overall.

Jarvis Williams added 12 points and eight rebounds, Justin Seymour scored 14 and Tyler Rambo scored 11. Murray State used a 10-2 run in the first half to build a 50-34 halftime lead and a 30-13 run in the second to pull away for good.

Caleb Hardy led Bethel with 15 points, Patrick Hubert added 11 and Mark Vaughn scored 10. The Wildcats couldn't keep up with 40 percent shooting and only 4 of 15 from 3-point range.
