UNC-Wilmington beats St. Andrews 105-47

WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) Freddie Jackson scored a career-high 33 points and UNC-Wilmington shot 70.3 percent on Wednesday night in a 105-47 victory over NAIA St. Andrews.

The Seahawks (3-2) led the entire game on their way to the largest margin of victory in program history at 58, surpassing a 100-52 win at Methodist during the 1963-64 season.

Jackson was 14 of 16 from the field including 5 of 6 from 3-point range with 20 of his points coming in the first half. Addison Spruill added 13 points, Malik Pugh scored 11 and Craig Ponder had 10. Cedrick Williams chipped in with nine points and 12 rebounds.

Aaron Smith had four 3-pointers to lead St. Andrews with 16 points, and Titus Gary scored 15. The Knights were 4 of 24 from the field with 11 turnovers in the first half.
