Woolridge, Grand Canyon top NAIA Great Falls 80-61

PHOENIX (AP) Royce Woolridge had 18 points on 8-of-10 shooting and Grand Canyon cruised to an 80-61 over NAIA Great Falls on Saturday night in the first meeting between the teams.

De'Andre Davis added 15 points for Grand Canyon (4-4) which shot 15 of 24 from the field in the first half to build a 38-27 lead.

Great Falls outrebounded Grand Canyon 35-32 and jumped ahead to a nine-point lead early in the first half before the Antelopes used a 16-3 run to go ahead 22-18.

Jerome Garrison and Joshua Braun added 11 points apiece for the Lopes who started a stretch with 10 of their next 11 games at home. Their lone road game will be at Indiana next Saturday.

T.J. Harris led Great Falls with 16 points. Sergio Berkley added 11 points and Sigman Farmer had 10 with nine rebounds.
