Between the Hashes Week 15: Ohio State's delicious redemption pizza

Each week, the college football team here at SI will delve into the fun, the weird and the wacky of college football with a series called Between The Hashes. It’s a way to decompress from the madness of the week, and to find a few things that you might have missed.
We made it! First off, take a second, take a bow and open a can or bottle of your favorite carbonated beverage. This is a big moment. We've survived another regular season, and as our reward we get a little reprieve and then a whole bunch of fun bowl games. The added bonus this season, of course, is the first ever College Football Playoff. That's pretty neat, too.

Conference championships are often at neutral sites, and taking games off campus tends to lead to fewer silly and absurd moments, but that didn't stop us from getting a bunch of worthwhile moments to enjoy and on which to look back. Week 15 didn't disappoint. The fans sure didn't disappoint either.
From Sad Pizza to Happy Pizza
Last year's loss by Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship left us with one of the most immortal pictures in recent college football history. Urban Meyer, sitting forlorn and alone, eating a personal Papa John's pizza. It gets brought up ad nauseam whenever Ohio State or Meyer does anything. And it's not going away any time soon. So props to Buckeyes linebacker Joe Burger, who recreated the shot after the team crushed Wisconsin on Saturday, ultimately earning a spot in the playoff.
Look for the signs
Baylor and TCU were at each other's throats, throwing shade left and right as they sought to sway the committee while fighting to become co-champions of the Big 12. Along with that came some pretty good signs by both teams, including some that made their way onto GameDay on Saturday morning.

Both sides of a Hail Mary
East Carolina had the game won. Then in an instant, it was all taken away, as UCF completed a Hail Mary to beat the Pirates, 32-30. The Knights, naturally, were elated. East Carolina fans were stunned. And seeing both sides was a striking juxtaposition.

Earn Your Stripes
Missouri lost to Alabama in the SEC title game, but Sean Weatherspoon won his personal fashion show in Atlanta on Saturday. I guess you only really get so many opportunities to bust out an outfit like that.

I've heard of smokescreens but this is ridiculous
They shot off fireworks before the ACC title game in Charlotte on Saturday night. The only problem? The smoke didn't clear. For a long time. You couldn't see the field from the press box. When Georgia Tech came out of the tunnel you could only see the fire in the air and a part of the team's flag. I know some people seem to think the ACC isn't great football, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be able to watch it at all.

So that's where the goalposts went
Marshall fans did something really cool and uniquely Huntington after beating Louisiana Tech on Saturday to capture the Conference USA Championship. This is rust belt as heck.
The Uga I – Uga VIII Memorial Mascot of the Week
It should come as no surprise this award goes to Goldy, Minnesota's mascot, who has won this award early and often throughout the 2014 season. The Gophers weren't playing, but Goldy made sure to let everyone know how much he cared with a tweet during the Big Ten title game.
Can't believe I'm saying this but: hey @Brutus_Buckeye can you please be a little nicer to @UWBuckyBadger?

Just kidding
