SE Missouri State edges Southern Illinois 55-54

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) Jarekious Bradley scored 17 points, including a game-winning jumper at the buzzer, as Southeast Missouri State edged Southern Illinois 55-54 on Wednesday night.

Bradley's winning shot as time expired came following a Nino Johnson steal. Johnson finished with seven points, 10 rebounds, three steals and four blocks.

The Redhawks (5-4) trailed early in the second period, going ahead, 45-44 on a Johnson dunk with 8:21 to play. A pair of Anthony Beane jumpers had the Salukis on top, 54-51, late in the period before a pair of free throws by Jamaal Calvin and Bradley's jumper at the buzzer gave the Redhawks the winning edge.

Aaron Adeoye added 14 points and four rebounds for the Redhawks. Isiah Jones had 10 points from the bench.

Beane had 22 points and five rebounds for the Salukis. Jordan Caroline added six points and 11 rebounds.
