TULSA, Okla. (AP) Southeast Oklahoma State withstood a late Tulsa rally to upset the Golden Hurricane 69-66 on Wednesday night.

The Division II Savage Storm (5-6) took a 62-46 lead with 1:13 remaining. But after Tulsa's Shaquille Harrison scored and James Woodard added a three-point play with 5 seconds left, the lead was only 68-66. Danny Powell made 1 of 2 free throws for Southeast before Harrison missed a shot from just beyond the arc as time expired.

Powell led Southeast with 19 points. Taylor Smaller added 18 and Sami Bzai 17.

Southeast had never defeated a Division I team since it joined the NCAA in 1996-97. The Savage Storm leads the all-time series 4-0, having defeated Tulsa three times between 1926-36 when both were in the Oklahoma Collegiate Conference.

Harrison led Tulsa (6-3) with season-high 24 points. Tulsa's last loss to a non-Division I team came against Quincy (Illinois) in 1977.
