Four-star 2015 running back Mike Weber announced on Wednesday that he has committed to Ohio State

Weber had previously committed to Michigan in August, but decommitted from the Wolverines last month. Michigan fired head coach Brady Hoke on Dec. 2 after the Wolverines finished 5-7 this season.

Weber, who is from Detroit, Mich., is ranked as the No. 8 running back in the country and the No. 71 player nationally by Rivals.com. He also held scholarship offers from Alabama, Michigan State, Georgia, Notre Dame, Wisconsin and others.

Weber is the 23rd commit to Ohio State's 2015 class, which is ranked No. 5 nationally on Rivals.com.

Ohio State won the Big Ten Championship on Saturday and earned the No. 4 seed in the College Football Playoff. The Buckeyes will play No. 1 Alabama on Jan. 1.
