Word, Webber lead Oral Roberts past Missouri State, 80-61

TULSA, Okla. (AP) Bobby Word scored 16 points and Adrion Webber added a career-high 15 to help Oral Roberts pull away for an 80-61 win over Missouri State on Monday night.

Word made 6 of 10 field goals, including 4 of 7 3-pointers, while Webber was 6-of-8 shooting and made three 3's. Denell Henderson, Aaron Young and Obi Emegano scored 12 apiece for Oral Roberts (4-4). Emegano had five assists and Henderson added eight rebounds and three blocked shots.

Missouri State (5-4) took a 33-32 lead into halftime and a jumper by Loomis Gerring gave the Bears a 37-34 edge with 18:49 to play. Oral Roberts then rattled off 19-consecutive points, including six-straight by Henderson, to blow the game open.

After a layup by Camyn Boone and a jumper by Gavin Thurman cut the Missouri State deficit to 53-41, a 3-pointer by Webber sparked a 16-0 run and Oral Roberts led by 28.
