Five-star wide receiver Christian Kirk commits to Texas A&M
Christian Kirk, a heralded senior prospect who attends Saguaro (Ariz.) High, announced on Wednesday that he has committed to Texas A&M, Richard Obert of The Arizona Republic reports.
Kirk, who plans to enroll early, is the No. 3 receiver and No. 29 player in the class of 2015, according to the recruiting service Rivals.com.
This is the second consecutive year in which Texas A&M has received a commitment from a five-star wide receiver. In 2014, Edna Karr (La.) High's Speedy Noil signed with the Aggies.

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound Kirk is renowned for his athleticism -- he was clocked at 4.47 in the 40-yard dash this summer -- and is could be versatile enough to line up in the slot or as a deep threat in college.
“I think he definitely is a deep threat because the quickness and the speed is so elite,” Rob Cassidy, a recruiting analyst for Rivals.com, said of Kirk earlier this month.
Kirk is the 22nd player and second wide receiver in the class of 2015 to commit to Texas A&M. The Aggies' 2015 recruiting class now ranks fifth in the country, according to Rivals.com.
