Quinnipiac beats Lehigh 80-65, snaps losing streak

HAMDEN, Conn. (AP) Ousmane Drame and Justin Harris both turned in double-doubles and Quinnipiac snapped a three-game losing streak by ending Lehigh's four-game winning streak 80-65 on Thursday night.

Drame scored 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for his sixth double-double this season while Justin Harris notched his first career double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Zaid Hearst added 13 points and eight assists while Kasim Chandler scored 10 points for the Bobcats.

Both teams had similar shooting nights, but the Bobcats (4-5) had a 53-30 advantage on the boards over the Mountain Hawks (4-5), including 27 offensive rebounds which led to 24 second-chance points.

Quinnipiac never trailed and led at the half 44-32, the most points it has scored in a half this season. The Bobcats led by as many as 22 in the second half.

Corey Schaefer led the Mountain Hawks with 11 points with Kahron Ross adding 10.
