BOISE, Idaho (AP) Derrick Marks scored 17 points, and Boise State set a school record for fewest points allowed in a game in a 77-33 win over Abilene Christian in a Las Vegas Classic game on Saturday.

The previous mark of 35 points allowed was recorded on Dec. 13, 1994, in a 66-35 win against Cal Poly. Abilene Christian managed only 14 points in the second half after trailing 34-19 at halftime.

The Broncos (9-2) never trailed. They scored the first 13 points and led by as many as 21 in the first half in winning their fifth consecutive game. Marks scored 11 points in the opening half when Boise State made 14 of 23 shots from the field. Marks, a senior, made a career-best five 3-point field goals.

Abilene Christian (4-6) missed its first 11 shots and fell behind 13-0. The Wildcats didn't score until there was 12:45 left in the first half. Abilene Christian did reel off 10 points in a row to pull within 29-19 but never got within single digits the entire game.

James Webb III finished with 14 points and a game-high eight rebounds for Boise State, which has an average margin of victory is 28.6 points during its current winning streak that includes wins over a pair of Division II foes. Joe Hanstad finished with 10 points for the Broncos, who finished the game shooting 59.6 percent from the field and 50 percent from 3-point range.

Austin Cooke scored 11 points and Jalen Little had nine for the Wildcats, who shot only 20 percent from the field and were outrebounded 41-22.

TIP-INS

Abilene Christian: The Wildcats' woes away from home continued with the loss. Abilene Christian dropped its 19th consecutive road game, a stretch that dates back to the start of last season. The Wildcats, who are 4-0 at home this season, haven't won an away game since Feb. 27, 2013, when the Wildcats defeated Incarnate Word. Abilene Christian hasn't won a nonconference game away from home since beating Texas-Permian Basin on Nov. 18, 2011. The Wildcats were a Division II school that season.

Boise State: Forward Anthony Drmic sat out his fourth consecutive game with a back injury. The senior, who ranks sixth in school history with 1,528 points, averages 15.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game in the seven games he's played. Boise State hasn't put a timetable on Drmic's return. He's been the team's leading scorer in his first three seasons. The Broncos also were without sophomore forward Nick Duncan, who averages 8.9 points per game. Duncan injured his ankle in practice and his right foot was in a boot Saturday.
