The forward will be available for Saturday's game against Michigan, according to ESPN, but it has not yet been decided whether he will start.
A native of Philadelphia, Pa., Kennedy spent his freshman year at Villanova before transferring to SMU and sitting out the 2012-13 season.
The Mustangs are 7-3 this season and have won five straight games after starting the season 2-3.
