Central Florida holds on to beat SE Louisiana 70-65

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) B.J. Taylor made 3 of 6 from beyond the arc and totaled 15 points to lead CentralFlorida to a 70-65 victory over Southeastern Louisiana on Monday night.

Taylor, who has scored in double figures in five straight games, was 6 of 13 from the floor. Aonys Henriquez and Brandon Goodwin added 13 apiece and Daiquan Walker chipped in 11 for UCF (7-4).

Southeastern Louisiana's leading scorer, Zay Jackson (15. 7 points a game), did not play due to an injury.

UCF held a 33-28 halftime advantage. Devonte Upson drove for a layup with 15:19 left to give the Lions a 40-39 lead. UCF's Shaheed Davis had a tip-in and slammed home a dunk to retake the lead 43-40 with 13:11 remaining. The Knights later had an 11-4 run to stretch their lead to 61-48.

Cedrick Jenkins had 20 points and Joshua Filmore added 17 for SE Louisiana (3-9).
