Report: LSU cornerback Jalen Collins to enter NFL draft

LSU cornerback Jalen Collins will reportedly enter the 2015 NFL draft, while defensive back Jalen Mills will return to the school next season.

LSU cornerback Jalen Collins will enter the 2015 NFL draft, while defensive back Jalen Mills will return to the school next season, reportsThe Times-Picayune.

According to the report, Collins received a favorable draft grade from the NFL Advisory Committee and Mills did not. 

Collins has recorded 33 tackles and grabbed one interception in 2014, his junior season. The 6-foot-2 CB has 85 tackles and three interceptions in his career with the Tigers, and was named Freshman All-SEC by coaches in 2012.

Mills, a junior who stands at 6-foot-0, has 54 tackles with one interception this season. He has 178 tackles and six interceptions during his three years at LSU. 

According to the Times-Picayune, Tigers defensive end Danielle Hunter, linebacker Kwon Alexander and offensive linemen Jerald Hawkins and Vadal Alexander are all considering entering the draft.

No. 22 LSU (8-4) plays Notre Dame at the Music City Bowl in Nashville on Dec. 30.
