WHAT'S AT STAKE

Duke's seniors want to get the elusive bowl victory after blowing games in the second half to Cincinnati, Texas A&M and Arizona State, keeping the program without a bowl victory since the 1961 Cotton Bowl. Indiana hopes to win its first bowl game since a 24-0 victory over Baylor in the 1991 Copper Bowl.

KEY MATCHUP

Indiana's wide receivers against Duke's secondary. Indiana's prolific offense will try to capitalize on the absence of ACC defensive player of the year Jeremy Cash, who underwent wrist surgery Dec. 16.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

INDIANA: QB Nate Sudfeld leads the Big Ten in seven offensive categories, including passing yards per game (289.5). He is the school's all-time leader with 58 passing touchdowns and 7,490 passing yards.

DUKE: QB Thomas Sirk is a dual threat. Besides throwing for 2,462 yards and 15 touchdowns, Sirk rushed for 648 yards. It is the second-highest total in school history before Mike Dunn's 757 in 1976.

FACTS AND FIGURES: In five seasons under coach Kevin Wilson, Indiana's offense has set 47 school records and 16 players have been drafted by NFL teams or received invites to training camp. ...
