Chad President, a heralded senior prospect from Temple, Texas, announced on Thursday that he has committed to Tulsa.

President is the No. 9 dual-threat quarterback and No. 200 player in the class of 2015, according to the recruiting website Rivals.com.

President decommitted from Baylor earlier this week after the Bears received a commitment from Jarret Stidham, the No. 4 dual-threat quarterback in the same class.

The 6-foot-3, 195-pound President is the 11th player and second quarterback in the class of 2015 to commit to Tulsa.

Rivals.com assigned President a four-star rating, while Tulsa's 10 other commitments in the class of 2015 received two-star ratings.

Tulsa announced the hiring of Bill Montgomery as head coach earlier this month. Montgomery will replace Bill Blankenship, who was fired after four seasons.

The Golden Hurricane finished 2-10 this season.
