UCLA forward Wanaah Bail ruled academically ineligible
UCLA sophomore Wanaah Bail will sit out the rest of the season after being ruled academically ineligible, according to Ryan Kartje of the Orange County Register.
UCLA sophomore Wanaah Bail will miss the rest of the season after being ruled academically ineligible, according to Ryan Kartje of the Orange County Register.
Bail is in his second season at UCLA after transferring from Texas Tech. He missed time during 2013-14 with a knee issue. Over 11 games this season, Bail was averaging 1.5 points and 2.6 rebounds.
UCLA (8-4) will play at Alabama on Sunday before opening Pac-12 play on Jan. 2 at Colorado. The Bruins were picked to finish fourth in the conference in a preseason poll.
