SE Missouri breaks away from NAIA Harris Stowe 94-66

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) Aaron Adeoye was a perfect 6 of 6 from the floor for 16 points as Southeast Missouri shot 51 percent while defeating NAIA Harris Stowe 94-66 on Sunday.

The Redhawks (6-7) snapped a three-game losing streak with four players in double figures - Jarekious Bradley and Antonius Cleveland scored 13 each and Marcus Wallace added 11. Southeast Missouri also forced 29 turnovers with 14 steals, Wallace with five and Nino Johnson with four. Wallace also had seven blocks.

Trevor Roberts scored 19 and Jalen Fletcher 17 for Harris Stowe (2-9).

Johnson began an 8-0 run with a dunk as the Redhawks rallied from 15-13 down to lead 21-15 early. The Hornets rallied once more to lead 24-22 after back-to-back Tony Flagg 3-pointers and fought into halftime trailing just 36-31.

But Southeast Missouri broke away with a 14-2 run early in the second half. Adeoye scored six in the run.
