Jameis Winston would pass on anyone, even Richard Sherman

Entering the Rose Bowl Game on New Year's Day, Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston is remaining confident.
Asked if Florida State would test Oregon's passing defense with star cornerback Ifo Ekpre-Olomusidelined by a torn ACL, Winston said the Seminoles would pass on anyone -- even Seattle Seahawks All-Pro cornerback Richard Sherman.
Jameis asked if FSU would test Oregon in pass game with Ifo out, said he would throw vs any DB. Even Richard Sherman.

Winston has completed 65.4 percent of his passes this season for 3,559 yards, 24 touchdowns and 17 interceptions. He was cleared earlier this month in a Code of Conduct case at the university stemming from a sexual assault allegation by a female Florida State student in December 2012.
• Miami RB Duke Johnson to enter NFL draft
Winston won the 2013 Heisman Trophy while leading the Seminoles to the BCS National Championship. A sophomore, Winston is widely expected to enter the NFL draft after this season.
Sherman is a two-time All-Pro NFL cornerback who is tied for seventh this season with four interceptions. He led the NFL with eight interceptions last season, helping anchor the defense for a Seahawks team that won Super Bowl XLVIII.
