Indiana running back Tevin Coleman to enter NFL draft

Indiana All-American running back Tevin Coleman will forego his final season of eligibility and enter the NFL draft.

Indiana junior running back Tevin Colemantold ESPN on Monday that he will forego his final season of eligibility and enter the NFL draft. 

Coleman was second in the nation this season in rushing, behind Wisconsin’s Melvin Gordon. The 6-foot-1 Coleman ran for 2,036 yards and 15 touchdowns and finished 7th in the Heisman Trophy voting. He also added 25 catches for 141 yards. 

He was named a first-team All-American selection by the Associated Press, Walter Camp and Sports Illustrated

Coleman set an Indiana single-season record by exceeding 200 rushing yards in four games, including a 32-rush, 307-yard performance against Rutgers on Nov. 15. 

In his three seasons at Indiana, Coleman rushed for 3,219 yards and 28 touchdowns.
