Kennesaw State routs NAIA Thomas 92-66

KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) Yonel Brown scored a career-high 36 points to lead Kennesaw State to a 92-66 rout of Thomas of the NAIA on Saturday.

Brown shot 13 of 20 from the floor, including 4 of 7 from long range, and 6-of-6 shooting from the line. Damien Wilson had 12 points, Bernard Morena and Orlando Coleman chipped in 10 apiece for Kennesaw State (5-11), which snapped a four-game losing streak.

Delbert Love dished out five assists, and Coleman and Jordan Jones each grabbed six boards for the Owls, who outrebounded the Night Hawks 40-23.

Brown scored 11-straight points to give the Kennesaw State a 26-10 lead with 11:49 to play in the first half, and the Owls led by double digits the rest of the way.

Alan Love had 16 points, Marcus Humose scored 14 points and Max Grace had 12 to lead Thomas.
